Unlikely : Bumps are not likely to be herpes.They are often shallow craters that may be few and unnoticed or may appear in great numbers and be quite painful. Bumps may be genital warts from hpv that can be passed with non-penetrating sexual activity, or it could be a simple follicle cyst under one of the hairs.An exam may be worthwhile and some frank discussion about std's is in order.
