No: Canker sores are not herpes so you will not pass this to anyone else. But be careful and make certain you have a canker sore and not herpes because because herpes lesions and canker sores look similar, but they occur on different parts of the mouth.

No: Herpetic lesions are contagious but viral in origin, cancre sores are not contagious or infectious. They ususally occur due to stress. The treatments for each is quite different.
