A member asked:

How consistent do you need to be with birth control pills? what happens if you are not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pregnancy: Take your pill every day about the same time. Say, between 6 am and noon, or noon to 6 pm, or 6 pm to midnight. Be consistent. If you arent, then your chances of pregnancy will be higher. If you arent good at taking pills ontime then talk to your doctor as there are other choices like nuvaring, or iuds that dont require you remember every day to take them.
