Similar : Bipolar disorder with psychosis shows resolution of the psychosis with treatment and periods of no psychosis without antipsychotic treatment. Schizoaffective disorder shows relapse into psychosis when antipsychotic meds are stopped. Functioning is often lower than in bipolar disorder and it can resemble schizophrenia. Dissociative identity disorder can mimic schizoaffective disorder.
