Sciatica: Buttocks pain that grows done back of leg to side or calf worse with standing worst with sitting and leg straightening numbness and tingling in foot.

Pain: The symptoms are pain in the distribution of the sciatic nerve which means radiation from your low back down the back of your thigh into your calf and foot. In more severe cases there may be associated tingling, numbness and even weakness in specific muscles. If you are worried about having sciatica see an orthopedic or neurological surgeon or a neurologist.

Back & Leg Pain: Sciatica is pain in the distribution of the leg as a result of an irritated nerve or facet joints or other injury typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease, etc. Symptoms include burning, tingling, stabbing, piercing, lightening-like, numbness, aching, throbbing, etc.
