Are cucumbers good for the eyes ? besides a good night rest, how can i get rid of under-eye darkness ?

Old wives tale: Cucumbers are cooling and soothing but have no internal medication capability. They have been oft quoted as a way to minimize bags under the eyes but there is no data to support this. Best to sleep well, exercise well and use good dietary judgement.
