Ultrasound: Your doc may see it on the ultrasound. Although, in most cases fetal genitals are visible at 15-16 weeks, it's not 100%. Even at 18 weeks, when ultrasound is normally done to assess fetal anatomy, sometimes it's hard to tell whether it is a boy or girl. Girl's genitalia are harder to see than that of a boy.

Your next ultrasound: Should show the sex that would be the fetal anatomy scan at 20 weeks.
