Yes: Stopping or starting a birth control pill can cause mood changes. Time is pretty much the only thing that will lessen the swings. Some women feel better on birth control. Pills when taken for 5 years, lower your ovarian cancer risk in 1/2, and decrease your risk for uterine cancer. They have a lot of health benefits. If you liked being on them and aren't trying for pregnancy, maybe consider.
