Yes, it is safe. Start the Yasminelle when you would have continued Mercilon and you will be fine. However, you may not immediately stabilize the bleeding and it may take a cycle to get yourself back to normal. That means you could still have bleeding and staining for much longer than 7 days, but it will not mean there is a problem.
