Multiple causes: Itching in the corners of the eyes is often related to allergy. Itching on the edge of the eyelids where the lashes grow is often related to blepharitis. Rapid muscle contractions of the lid is called blepharospasm and can have several causes. You need to see your ophthalmologist to examine your eyes for these conditions, to determine your correct diagnoses and the best course of therapy.
