Not uncommon: Group b strep is a common germ found in the female genital tract. At any time as many as 1/3 will have it.It also comes and goes over time without treatment. It is important near the end of a pregnancy when it can transfer to the baby and cause serious infection. It can occasionally be a cause for a uti.It is unlikely to be of significance to you.
