That's how it works: One gets pregnant by having sex right around the time of ovulation. If you ovulated around dec 2nd and the calculated conception date is around dec 5th then that is as expected. Remember there is a couple of day margin of error regarding conception date and ovulation date calculations. A 3 day difference is certainly in the margin of error.
