Or something else: It is also possible that you may have shingles / zoster, particularly if the blisters are only on one side of your body (l/r not front/back) and in one nerve root distribution (= a horizontal band approximately 3' wide up/down). See your dr for examination & diagnosis.

Depends : Genital herpes is usually sexually transmitted while type 1 herpetic labialis is usually not sexual transmitted. Confirm the type of herpes with your doctor.
