Ankle Sprain: It sure sounds like a sprained ankle or a fractured foot. Not sure why you put this statement on here without a question. But i would advise a visit with your family doctor.

RICE: I would apply so called rice protocol - rest, ice, compression, and elevation which should give you some relief. If you are unable to bear weight on it, you need to see your doc to rule out fracture. If no fracture found, he may choose to put you on crutches or splint it so it would be at rest until it gets better.
