Yes, I think so.: Caffeine is a mild CNS stimulant occurring naturally in coffee, cocoa and tea. In very large doses, it can be profoundly toxic, causing anxiety, arrhythmia, tachycardia, vomiting, convulsions, delirium, coma & death. Normal quantities shouldn't bother most people, but some are hyper-sensitive. Are you okay since then? A physical eval if not & a cbt therapist for stress mgmt may be ideas if not.

Coffee and anxiety: Excessive coffee resulting in high intake of caffeine can cause anxiety, sleeplessness and other problems. In some cases more severe problems like hallucinations and severe confusion can also result from very excessive use.
