How soon does vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen) work?

Vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen): Vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen) should work fast, however, significant relief may take a while, since arthritis is a chronic problem and you may not feel much functional improvement right away. As far as pain, i would expect, 2-3 days and it should feel better.

Like Aleve (naproxen): Vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen) has the same anti-inflammatory medication (naproxen) that is in aleve plus an antacid medication, known as nexium. The Naproxen can help with pain within an hour, but its anti-inflammatory effects will be more likely to take effect over the course of a few days (3-4) with routine administration (i.e. Taking it twice per day for 3-4 days).
