Probably: Probably need to see a doctor if it's been painful for 2 weeks. Where is the pain in the leg, front? Back? Near calf or near ankle? Could be a stress fracture, shin splints, dvt, exersional compartmental syndrome, etc.

See below: Sometimes pain that radiates down the leg could be from an irritated lumbar nerve root. This is called sciatica or radiculopathy and the irritation usually comes from a bad disc or arthritic changes that compress the nerve. The distribution of pain depends on which nerve is irritated. See your md if this pain lasts greater than 2 weeks.
