Insomnia: Usually a week or two. But if you we're using opiates to help your sleep, there might be other reasons for you insomnia. Try to exercise at least 2hrs before going to bed.Use light music, avoid any other electronics before sleep or in bed. Avoid tv while in bed. Normal sleep cycle is between 9-10 pm. Good luck and congrats on getting off of opiates!

Thanks for asking!: Insomnia could vary. Withdrawal symptoms should be over in a week or 10 days while insomnia might improve or not depending if there are additional factors or stressors which are affecting you.
