Get help: Very few people can stop on their own. Our brains require the fellowship of others to overcome this otherwise-unmanageable problem. A visit to aa's or a related group is in order. Be brave and if you decide that you are indeed moving toward alcoholism, take the first step, for your own sake and the sake of those who love you.
