CONSULT YOUR GYNECOL: You should consult your gynecologist if it is resent change in your periods.You will need a thorough exam and depending on the cause, you may need meds, birth control pills or if there is condition like endometriosis or leiomyoma etc, has to be treated.

Time for visit: I would visit an OBGYN for evaluation and treatment. The issue could be several things. Your problem is not unusual and is one of the reasons the original work was done that developed the BC pill. It was originally tested as a solution to such problems, but the side effect of reduced fertility became it's eventual main use.
