Be careful: You use the term knock a person out and that may not represent the healthiest route to restful sleep. Consider enhancing your sleep hygiene including no electronic devices for the hour before sleep, as little light as possible around your place of sleep, and reduction in caffeine and nicotine. If you still need help, consider 3 to 6 milligrams of melatonin or an over the counter anithistamine.
