Manage the batteries: If you use the toothbrushes everyday, you obviously will need the batteries to be fresh in order for them to function. You might consider a plug in, induction charging unit to save on cost of batteries. I like the battery ones for travel. Its always a good idea to take the batteries out of the toothbrush if you only use it for travel and they are stored for long times without use.

Rinse and dry: Any toothbrush should rinsed and allowed to dry between uses.
