Fungus: Soaking the acrylic in alcohol would help to clean them , but if fungus is present on you (which is where it lives as a dermatophyte ) this won't help prevent infection. Fungus likes a warm dark moist environment and false nails are a great place for fungus. Caveat emptor - buyer beware . Good luck !
