A member asked:

I feel like i have air bubbles trapped in my vagina all the time. could someone please explain what it means. my gyno is clueless on this.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaginal air: Well some women do retain some air in the vagina especially after having children as the lips of the vagina may be more gaping. Occasionally when women bare down or during sex they may make a sound that is similar to passing gas. Sometimes during a vaginal surgery once the patient relaxes you will hear a bit of air pass out the vaginal opening.
