I will go for a routine eye exam for updated rx, with dilation. i do not like to wait the long time after dilation for my eyes to adjust. no options?

Dilation: Is not necessary for a routine eye exam. Routine meaning that you are not having any symptoms and you are just needing to update your glasses prescription. This is especially true if there were no problems found on a previous dilated eye exam.
