A member asked:

Is it normal for a 39 year old to have an increased sex drive?

Bottom line, yes: There are a lot of changes that affect libido/sex drive, ranging from shifts in hormonal balances to changes in our experience of ourselves and clarification of our own needs and desires. So for many reasons, it is not uncommon for women to report increases in sex drive as the approach mid-life. Men sometimes have the opposite experience, as their testosterone levels gradually drop with age.

Sex Drive: It is not abnormal, the fact that you are asking the question probably needs to be discussed. Confide in a close friend and talk openly about your concerns. Best.
