See below: With a cooperative surgeon and patient it should be relatively simple to do this procedure under regional anesthesia. This needs to be discussed with the surgeon before proceeding.

Regional anesthesia: can be done for a myomectomy if it is performed open, meaning an abdominal incision. If it is performed laparoscopically or robotically, then a general anesthetic is required.
