Should i heat or ice sore muscles/body aches? i recently started crossfit, an intense workout program and am definitely feeling the burn!

Ice and more ice: Try resting it (for 1-2 weeks), icing, compressing wraps or bracing, and elevating your sore muscles. Take otc antiinflammatory drugs like advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin as directed by the manufacturer to help. Heat increases swelling and makes the healing process worse. Although the skin feels good, it doesn't help.

Keep it UP!!: Keep it UP....the burn will subside and I would use ice. Please drink LOTS of water and also start to do stretches/muscle massaging at home to help repair and sooth your self after the awesome crossfit WODs.
