Should be fine: Actually the Epinephrine in dental work is injected with the novocaine to keep the pain killer in place rather than it leaking out into the circulation. Very little of the eli leaks into the circulation either, and hardly anyone has problems due to it. Check w/your dentist.

Epinephrine: The Epinephrine in the local anesthetic is used to prolong the period of time you will remain numb. Very little if any should get into the blood stream to cause the increased heart rate if done correctly. But the valium is also fine to take if it relaxes you.

Epinephrine: After over 40 years of dental practice I have had only a handful of patients who truly are sensitive to Epinephrine in local anesthetics. Almost all patient who say they react with an increased heart rate do so because of the release of their own epi due to anxiety, or react from poor injection technique. Ask your dentist about the use of sweet air instead of valium. Btw ok with precautions.
