A member asked:

Daughter-in-law (35) and grandson (9) have sticklers syndrome. she has constant joint pain and hip keeps dislocating. can't find doctor for her.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pediatric ortho: Even though she is an adult, she may want to see if a pediatric orthopedist in her area will see her. Call a regional children's hospital for names. They are really very educated about the orthopedic consequences of stickler's. Also make sure they are both seeing an opthalmologist regularly. Some pediatric specialists will see adults if they have congenital/hereditary conditions.
