Get a full spectrum: White light (they are expensive) and sit and read a book in its light for about 2 hours in the early morning. This readjusts the normal brain rhythm known as circadian.

SAD: The most fun option for treating seasonal affective disorder is going to the Caribbean for vacation when it is cold back home. Light therapy can be very effective.
