No: Not really, benzodiazepines including Ativan (lorazepam) don't seem to have effect on weight or appetite. However, if loss of appetite is/was one of the symptoms of your anxiety, then using Ativan (lorazepam) suppresses anxiety and consequently stops the lack of appetite effect of your anxiety.
