Can you please list the common causes of psychogenic dyspnea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hyperventilation: This is not rare! most people unconsciously discover that slow deep breaths are an excellent relaxation technique. It's quite easy for people under stress to unconscioiusly apply this a bit too liberally until they're hyperventilating with consequent sensation of air hunger, dizziness, and even frankly passing out. It's easily treatable - talk with your doc.
