Could be painful: Getting anything stuck up your bottom could be painful or at least uncomfortable. If perishable it would in time degrade -- but the process may be unpleasant. Your bowel needs to be free to evacuate, and leaving other items inside may impede this process. Depending on what item you're referring to, it may be best to visit a doctor and have it removed.
