Irregular periods : Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . Normal: It's normal to have some spotting after your period has technically 'stopped.' sometimes this occurs a day or so after it's ended. Sometimes women have what we call 'breakthrough bleeding.' can be due to changes in your estrogen/progesteone levels. If it's just a spot, i wouldn't worry. Hope that helps!
