Varies: Could be several days to a week. Symptoms like abdominal pain will abate first. Stool will then slowly firm and return towards more normal over several days.

See below: The diarrhea usually improvs after 3-4 days of treatment but you need to complete the full 14 day treatment course. I would also recommend probiotic treatment with vsl#3 and florastor 1 capsule of each 2 time a day for 30 days. Note there is a 25% relase rate that necessitates retreatment.
