Unlikely: Most home pregnancy tests (hpts) claim to be 99% accurate on the first day of the missed period. However, research suggests that most hpts do not always detect the very low levels of pregnancy hormones this early. Most hpts can accurately detect pregnancy 1 week after a missed period.
