Burning feet: Any discomfort in foot or feet is never normal. With burning, sharp, throbbing pain and sensitive may involve with your nerve. One of the most common cause of nerve symptoms on feet (if not result from injuries) is elevation in blood sugar. Be sure to check with your primary care doctor to rule out diabetes. Yet, there's also different foot related conditions would give these sensation.

Burning my be diabet: Burning sensation or neuropathy may be cause by metabolic/endocrine disorder ie: diabetes. It can also be cause by fine nerve neuropathy or radiculopathy associated with lower back problems. See your podiatrist or family doctor for examination.
