Meningioma: If you have weakness and cognitive symptoms then you definitely need a neurosurgical consultation, regardless of the size of the meningioma. Even though it is benign, it is still potentially a problem if it's causing pressure on adjacent brain tissue.

Meningioma: Depends how small it is and whether edema (swelling) is present. Most meningiomas are slow growing and cause gradual symptoms unless the brain is irritated enough to cause a seizure. I recommend seeing a neurologist to evaluate the situation.
