can a small nonenhancing right middle third falx meningioma be the likely cause of symptoms: left side asthenia, cognitive problems, no headaches.

Ask your doctor: I would think that a growth in the brain could cause many subtle issues. Your best answer will come from your doc or a neurosurgeon. Please get the question answered.

Probably not.Unless the tumor is large enough to cause pressure on the adjacent brain tissue it would not cause these symptoms .

More info needed: Left-sided asthenia is vague. Cognitive problems are a global issue. I agree with dr. Bose that it's unlikely to be responsible for those symptoms. Meningiomas can be incidental and along the falx, which is a midline structure, are unlikely to cause neurologic problems unless it becomes large enough to cause mass effect. I hope this helps.

It is very important that babies not be given unpasteurized honey because of this risk. Clostridium botulinum is a bacteria that produces a toxin that paralyzes muscles, including those that control breathing.

Resistance excercise: Do anaerobic resistance exercise, usually weight lifting and eat well. Whether you should increase your protein intake is controversial i say yes, but there have been vegetarian body builders. My guess is that there is a genetic component to muscle development and these individuals just have a propensity.

Possible: If this inflammatory consition of your spine has a generalized or systemic source, yes. You would see your own doctor or a rheumatologist for a possible cause with the weakness being an associated symptom.
