Focus on future: 1st let's be clear. Annual mammograms should not increase risk of cancer. Neither should a chest xray every now & then. However, there is some risk w/ct scans, but it's out of your control & you can't undo the past. Nor can you take anything to "repair your cells". So focus on eating healthy (lots of brightly & deeply colored fruits & veggies) & regular exercise since obesity increases cancer.

Radiation damage: The past is the past. Antioxidants and healthy living are the best recommendations for you. If down the road you get systemic symptoms such as weight loss or chronic headaches please see your physician. An MRI is a radiation free test that if you need one you should have instead of ct or x-ray. Relaxation techniques may be of benefit to you as well.

I would not worry to: I would advise you not to worry about developing cancer despite your 6ct scans in 2 years. Medical use of ct scans is pretty safe. We have thousands of patients who have had ct scans every 3-4 months for 2-3 years without thinking too much about developing new cancers.. So despite some concerns about ct being harmful it has to be extremely rare that a cancer is caused by the use of this test.
