Thick dark lashes: Prostaglandin drugs will make the lashes thicker, darker and longer. This includes Latisse (bimatoprost) and the glaucoma medications Xalatan (latanaprost), zaditor, and lumigan. There can be side effects including conjunctival redness, skin pigmentation, and potential permanent darkening of the iris (and others). Side effects can be reduced if the product is applied to the lashes without skin/eye contact.

Not that way: Vaseline won't do a thing. There is a product called Latisse (bimatoprost) which is available by rx only that actually will make your lashes longer and thicker and darker.

Unfortunately not: Vaseline on your eyelashes won't do a thing, except make you blurry if it gets in your eyes. The only thing known to grow or thicken eyelashes is a medication called latisse, (bimatoprost) a topical ointment you place on your eyelashes. Only available by prescription. It is, however, very irritating to the eyes and highly allergenic, & it can make blue/green eyes turn brown permanently, so beware side effects.
