Pain in pregnancy: When a woman becomes pregnant her uterus will start enlarging to accommodate the growing fetus inside. As the pregnancy progresses it is not unlikely to experience cramping and some pains, as the enlarging uterus pulls on its ligaments, pushes on the adjacent pelvic organs - bladder, intestine, or as the hormonal changes of the pregnancy affect your intestinal function.
