Usually old blood: Browns are usually from small quantities of old blood--from vagina or urinary tract. Can be indicator of irritation or infection. Should see your gyn or primary dr for examination and testing as needed.

Depends: It is normal to have some vaginal discharge. If there is discoloration or odor then the discharge may be an indication of a problem such as infection or cancer. You should see your doctor for an exam.
