Unlikely: Clomid (clomiphene) is used for a variety of reasons- if you have unexplained infertility-i.e.-regular cycles , normal egg quality tests, partner has normal sa and your tubes are open---the pregnancy rate with Clomid (clomiphene) and intercourse is 2% per cycle adding an insemination will increase it to 10-15%. Clomid (clomiphene) with intercourse does work best for patients that are not ovulating.
