Sometimes: Anybody can get lightheaded if they jump up from bed too fast. Usually it's enough to slow down and sit before standing, and avoid dehydration. More serious oh is usually seen in older patients with parkinsons and other neuro conditions and can be quite disabling. Their BP can drop as much as 90 points from lying to standing and we have some special treatments for them.
