Likely reflux: It sounds most likely esophageal spasm, cardiac disease is less likely if it is not exertional along with young age, as it is asso with belching, control food habits and try Tums zantac (ranitidine) or prilosec.

Pain and belching: Sounds like you had a problem with intestinal gas today probably from air swallowing. I wouldn't be particularly worried at 18 years.
