A member asked:

I have a localized tingly feeling slightly below and left of my right breast, more noticable when i lay down. accompanying back pain same side.nerves?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be nerve: Tingling is usually a symptom that suggests a nerve is irritated, inflamed or compressed, and painful, if more severe. Nerves from your thoracic area travel to the area you describe along the path of ribs. If back pain in that pattern, a disc or other cause of nerve irritation from the back could be causing it. Request evaluation, reflexes and sensation should be checked at least.
