A member asked:

If i started my birth control on the 13th to help with my irregular periods when should i exspect my period and i just had one july 2nd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

28 days later: Usually, when you start take birth control pills on a monthly schedule, then you should expect your period 28 days after you started your first pill. Unfortunately, breakthrough bleeding on the hormone pills are not that uncommon and can be confusing but i described the ideal variant for you.
