Vaginal bleeding: Pregnancy needs to ruled out first. If not pregnant, you are having breakthrough vaginal bleeding. If you have pain in your abdomen, you may need to have work up done to rule out ruptured ovarian cyst. If that's negative, ultrasound should assess the inner lining of your uterus. But before you get that done, see your doc who may do an exam and suggest further.
